Megan offers therapy in an affirming environment where individuals can share concerns about their current and past challenges. She works collaboratively to help you gain insight into your life, feel understood in your struggles, develop tools to create meaningful and sustainable relationships, and move towards a healthier, more balanced life.
Megan’s approach to therapy is holistic and integrative; she utilizes mindfulness, thoughtfulness, and humor with her clients. She works closely with clients to ensure that therapy is focused, safe, respectful and confidential. Clinically, Megan draws upon narrative, person-centered, and strengths-based orientations; she has knowledge of both CBT and DBT approaches.
Megan attended Loyola University Chicago and has specialized training in working with substance abuse, life transitions, grief, loss, chronic illness, disability, anxiety and depression. Megan also works with LGBTQ individuals who are coming out, exploring sexuality or transitioning genders.
