Micha LeNeave, LCSW

Micha is a licensed clinical social worker who approaches therapy with collaboration and non-judgment at the center of each session. She believes therapy should be a safe and intentional space to take risks, unpack and explore our experiences, and develop new ways of thinking and feeling about ourselves and our place in the world.

Using a trauma-informed, integrative approach, combining elements across therapeutic modalities (including EMDR, ACT, IFS, CPT, DBT, Mindfulness, Narrative therapy). Micha creates an approach that tailors to each client’s needs. Her style is casual and compassionate, utilizing humor and metaphors to help clients develop insights about their experience, identify tools and strategies to reduce distress, and understand theory relevant to their circumstances.

Micha has experience working with individuals presenting with symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illness, poor life transitions, and self-esteem issues across the lifespan with varying cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

After receiving her undergraduate in Sociology and Anthropology from Lake Forest College, Micha completed her graduate studies in Social Service Administration with a clinical concentration at the University of Chicago. She holds active licenses in Illinois and Missouri and is available for telehealth appointments.
